要旨

Although metabolomics is a useful approach for high-resolution biochemical phenotyping, it is not easy to implement owing to its complex, interdisciplinary nature. Therefore, our group has been developing practical and user-friendly metabolomics technologies. In this seminar, I would like to introduce some of these developments, particularly the application of supercritical fluid technologies, such as supercritical fluid chromatography and supercritical fluid extraction, to metabolite analysis.
I will also discuss the next-generation metabolomics technologies that would be essential for a transomics approach.
