Abstract
Meningeal macrophages and lymphatic vessels act as CNS immune regulatory compartments and modulate brain cell responses and neuroinflammation in various disease models. We found that chronic kidney disease (CKD) mediated vascular IgG leakage, microglia activation, and cognitive impairment in animals. I will discuss about the role of meningeal immune cells in CKD-induced brain vessel pathologies and neurologic deficits.
