The Medical Institute of Bioregulation (MIB) was adopted into the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Promotion of Development of a Joint Usage/Research System Project: Coalition of Universities for Research Excellence Program (CURE) starting in Fiscal Year 2023. As a new initiative to apply technologies developed at the High-Depth Omics Science Center to research in the fields of development and regeneration, we launched the "4D Systems Development and Regenerative Biology Initiative".

This project aims to uncover the full picture of organ formation using mathematical approaches, in collaboration with the Pan-Omics Data Driven Innovation Research Center at Kyushu University, the Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics (IMEG) at Kumamoto University, and the Institute for Life and Medical Sciences (LiMe) at Kyoto University.
