The 13th International Symposium of the Institute Network for Biomedical Sciences joint with the 3rd Symposium of the Inter-University Research Network for Trans-Omics Medicine and the 28th Hot Spring Harbor Symposium
On Oct 18 (Thu) and 19 (Fri), 2018, the 28th Hot Spring Harbor International Symposium "Biomedical Sciences in the Era of Big Data" was held by Medical Institute of Bioregulation at Centennial Hall, Kyushu University. This year, the symposium was jointly held with the Institute Network for Biomedical Sciences and the Inter-University Research Network for Trans-Omics Medicine, and supported by The Naito Foundation and “Joint Usage / Research Center for the Multi-Stratified Host Defense System”. We had three invited speakers from abroad: Drs. Peer Bork (Germany), Suhas Rao (USA), and Rachel Rosenthal (UK), and also 24 speakers from the 12 member institutes of the Institute Network for Biomedical Sciences. All talks were very interesting and exciting. A total of 250 people attended the symposium and had hot discussions about each topic.
